Jing tutorial — Presentation Transcript

• 1. A SIMPLE TUTORIALONHOW TO USE JING
• 3. Simply google ‘download jing’ and click on the first website.
• 4. Download the free version and install it onto your computer
• 5. Once you have installed it, there will be a little sun on top of your screen. Hover your mouse over it to bring up the menu.Click on this one to capture a picture or video of your screen as you see it.
• 6. It will then bring you up with crosshairs which you can click and drag. The area you have chosen will be seen in colour.
• 7. At the bottom of your selected area, there are a list of multimedia options
• 8. Click this one to ‘capture image’
• 9. Click this one to ‘record video’

• 20. Jing is a program which allows you to take images and record videos of your screen.It is free to download program. You can use the basic features for free but the better, more advanced features you need to pay for. It costs $14.95 for the upgrade. It supports both MAC and PC.I think Jing would be a great program for the school to use. If a teacher was away and wanted to show you how to use a program, she could Jing it and send it to the students. It is ideal for showing tutorial videos.

VW BIKE

VW has revealed its newest trans­porta­tion design: the bicycle. This fold­able, com­pact elec­tric bike has a range of a lit­tle over 12 miles, and cruises at a lit­tle over 12 mph. It derives its energy from the vehi­cle, not need­ing to plug into a socket or be removed from the vehi­cle to charge. I hope this con­cept becomes a reality.

DUTCH CARGO BIKE

The new Dutch bike brand Urban Arrow re-invented the urban transport bike. The result is a cargo bike that makes you (and your luggage) travel faster and comfortable through the congesting city.Designer Wytze van Mansum tried to get more unity throughout the whole bike. The frame encapsulates the motor and chain, and thus creating a unique frame design. The curved tubes around the top of the box are for protection of the box and of children fingers hanging over the rim of the box. 

They also provide storage room for the rain cover poles and a lock or pump. Because the box is made in a mould some fun functionalities like the cup holders are able to be incorporated. With the electric assist you can just get around a busy town faster than by car, taking with you up to 180kg of cargo. The aluminum stiff frame is equipped with a lightweight EPP cargo box. EPP is a recyclable, but durable foam. Urban Arrow won an innovation award at Eurobike, the biggest European bicycle fair in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

MONOCYCLE

The Monocycle is a perfect city bike that can be used for short distance travels and can be parked in the least available of spaces. Moreover, the bicycle comes with a strong electric motor to support the riders, so they need not push too hard to speed up the bike. designer Harald Palma’s revolutionary bike design might make riding a monocycle easier and safer. 

Claimed as the first ever self balancing cycle in the world, the Monocycle also features advanced devices, including accelerometers and gyroscopes. Blending machine and human balancing together, the cycle is fully controlled by the body balance of the rider. While the rider leans forward, it gives momentum to the bike, whereas, putting the body weight backward slows down and stops the bike.

SUITCASE BICYCLE

It is a folding bicycle which can also be used as a complete suitcase. Yes, this bike can be folded down into a suitcase within 10 seconds whenever you want it. This bike weighs 8 to 9 KG only. You can take it along with you easily while traveling because now you do not need to carry your luggage. Once you come out of airport, just transform your suitcase in a dork bike and simply ride home. This concept has already been brought into reality and is available for sale.

BACKPACK BICYCLE

Unless you wear one of those jet packs (a la rocketman), not many of you would claim to wear his/her preferred mode of transport on the back. Chang Ting Jen recognizes this and wants to change it too. His entry in the International Bicycle Design Competition is tagged Backpack Bicycle, and it is easy to see just why. With public transport (MRT and buses) becoming all the more favored means to commute, increasingly bike is becoming inconvenient or downright superfluous. Its need is felt only when the inter-city buses leave us on our own to explore the city. As soon as the need for a foldable bike arises, the Backpack Bicycle steps in.
